I am so officially obsessed with my new lighter hair color thanks to the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ Products. You can see my full post here all about them and it was so easy to get this brighter and lighter color at home with no salon visits. I mean gorgeous color at home for a fraction of the cost of the salon - SOLD! I started out by using the Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ Treatment and followed with the  Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ Shampoo and   Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ Conditioner. You can  get all the products at your local Walmart and if they don't have them in store, you can shop them on Walmart.com. I highly recommend checking them out.

I had several requests on one of my favorite ways to style my hair: the perfect top knot. So I thought I would walk you through this super simple up-do. During the Summer months I love to throw my hair up in a cute top knot for casual days in the sun or a dressy night out to dinner. I find this one of the easiest hairstyles to recreate.

Step One: Gather hair into a high pony on the top of your hair and secure with a rubber band.

Step Two: Twist hair loosely and wrap around the elastic, make sure it is loose enough to give the messy effect you are trying to achieve.

Step Three: Secure hair with bobby pins and pull out wisps if you want it a little extra messy.

Voila the easiest top knot - such a gorgeous and easy look - especially when it starts getting outrageously hot outside.

  1. I love how easy a top knot is and how it can look so together, too. My problem is not getting it all the way to the TOP all the time ;) #client
