Chess Squares are one of those delicious desserts that Southerners always bring to parties or luncheons and everyone devours them. They are just a staple like pecan pie and pound cake. This is probably one of the easiest and yummiest desserts to take to a function and everyone will thank you or hate you because they won't be able to stop eating them.
This is a must for your baking repertoire, especially when you don't have much time to whip something together. Henry couldn't stop eating them.
