5 Tips to Feel More Beautiful


1. EXERCISE

When I am working out on a consistent basis my mood is better, my clothing fits better, and all around my daily routine improves. Finding that time for yourself everyday, even if it is just for 20 minutes makes a huge difference. It makes me feel amazing from the inside out and that is really what feeling beautiful is all about. Feeling strong and healthy, losing that extra holiday weight is definitely an added bonus. :) 


2. Healthy Eating 

I could talk about healthy eating forever and the benefits of fruit, veggies, and WATER are endless. When I am eating healthy I notice a difference in how much energy I have, how clear and glowy my skin is, and how I feel after a meal. You don't feel bad when you are eating foods that are good for you and when you do have a bad meal every now and then your body definitely knows the difference. I have been back on my fitness and health kick for two weeks and I can already see such a huge difference in my energy, skin, and how much water I am retaining. Drinking around 3- 32 ounce bottles a day helps keep you hydrated and get's rid of any water weight. I am also making sure to have three meals a day and snacks in-between. 


3. SPA NIGHTS 

I like to do face masks at least two nights a week but on the weekends I love to have one night where I take the time to have a little pamper session. Light a few candles and put on a pot of tea. Pick out your favorite super girly movie - Bridget Jones is always a great option. Do a face mask, exfoliate, groom, self tan, etc. You will feel amazing and totally put together. Watch some fun You-Tube beauty videos and try a fun DIY hair mask. It will leave your skin glowing and your hair silky smooth. I find that when I make time to do this for myself, it really helps me feel relaxed, beautiful, and put together. 



4. TOOTH WHITENING 

I will be honest I don't love whitening my teeth. My teeth happen to be super sensitive so I can't leave the strips on for very long and I have to be very aware. I keep it up because having a whiter smile definitely leaves me feeling confident and more beautiful. I do recommend trying out the 3D Crest Whitestrips - they are the best option I have found to get a really white smile on your own. 


5. MANI / PEDI

What is better than going to get your nails or toes or both done on a Friday after a long hard work week - nothing I repeat nothing. If there is wine included - SOLD. I frequently paint my own nails but nothing feels as fresh and gorgeous as having someone scrub and buff you and then slap on a perfectly coated candy apple red or lilac on your fingers. A mani/pedi always leaves me feeling so pampered, a little indulgent and beautiful.
