Cream Cheese and Bacon Mushrooms

My mother in law is the one who got me hooked on this amazing appetizer and these mushrooms are a serious crowd pleaser. I made them for my family during Christmas in Virginia and Henry and I made them for a party recently and everyone just loves them. The cream cheese, bacon, and hot mushrooms are perfection together. But seriously who can hate anything with cream cheese in it? Not this girl! 


1 package cream cheese

Hormel Real Bacon Pieces

1 package mushrooms ( I like to use the small ones but the big ones are great too)

Garlic salt 

Put your cream cheese in a bowl and heat it in microwave until soft around 20 seconds. Mix your cream cheese, bacon pieces, and garlic salt to taste. Spoon into your washed mushrooms on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.

Enjoy them - they are so yummy!

  1. This looks like a good recipe, however I don't really consume bacon so I probably wouldn't try it. I also think that you can add another element to the dish, like maybe a sauce to make it even better. Great job anyways.
