With Style and a Little Grace: Holly Jolly Christmas Decorations

Holly Jolly Christmas Decorations

- Our Christmas Cards since we have been married with my favorite super bright semi tacky wreath I bought in college

So I will not lie to y'all I seriously debated even posting my Christmas decorations this year because well to be honest they just aren't really as fancy or put together as I want them to be. I know that Henry and I are just starting out and that we have years to collect the items that will one day fill our home for the holidays but still when I took photos of my little corners it just looked a bit like a major hodge podge. Add that together with a house that we are not updating because we are saving to buy kind of put me in a funk about my decorations. I mean everywhere you turn there is pinterest perfection.

Then I basically kicked myself because who cares if it is perfect - I will look back on these times with so much fondness and this is where we are starting all of our memories. There are plenty of years ahead for perfect Christmas decorations - I should embrace the years where I am using a blanket as my tree skirt #truelife. Sometimes updating your Christmas decor is just the last thing in your budget especially when you are buying Christmas gifts for everyone. I think it just made me realize what is really important about the season - spending time with the ones we love and celebrating all that God has given us. Jesus is the reason for the season.

- gold dusted pinecones and twinkle lights on our mantle

- adorable reindeer napkins, my reindeer cup that goes with a set that is packed away, and super cute measuring cups from my mother in law

- adorable dish towel I found last year

- I did finally manage to get the stockings I wanted last year and I love them

- our Christmas Countdown with claymation Santa - love him!

- my DIY wreaths that turned out so gorgeous

- our gorgeous Christmas tree - slowly collecting more ornaments and I definitely will have a tree skirt next year

I love my little corners and wouldn't change a thing at least until next year ;) !

Happy Saturday and Thank y'all for reading!
