With Style and a Little Grace: Spring and Summer Reading List

Spring and Summer Reading List

As an avid bookworm I got really excited about writing this post. I love the idea of lounging by the pool all day and opening up my crisp new book - maybe sniffing it a little ( come on who doesn't love new book smell) and diving headfirst into a new adventure. I feel like the lazy days of Spring and Summer give me so much more time to read - maybe because there is just less to watch on television. Check out what I read last year here.

I have gathered together a list of my top ten books I want to read this Spring and Summer. I would love to know what you are currently reading and what you are planning on reading soon.

All the Light we Cannot See - This book has gotten rave reviews. The story of a blind french girl who crosses paths with a german boy during World War II. Her father builds her an exact model of her town so she can memorize it and always be able to find her way home.

The Andy Cohen Diaries - My girlfriend actually gave me both of his books to read and I am so excited because I literally  gobble up everything Bravo and he is pretty much the king of Bravo so it is definitely a must read. I can't wait to read all of his fabulous and entertaining stories.

The Girl on the Train - Acclaimed as the next Gone Girl this is the book currently on my nightstand. Rachel takes the commuter train to work every single day and watches the same couple living their perfectly normal life. Until she witnesses something that changes everything. So intrigued by this one.

The Nightingale - My Aunt sent me this book because we both share a love for all things Kristin Hannah. This is another book set during WWII and it has a love story and the journey of family during this time as well.

Allegiant - The third book in the series. I have put this one off because I have heard that it is a bit of a let down. But I watched the movie for Insurgent a few weeks ago and it re sparked my interest.

Red Queen - Teen Fiction with everything I always love. Magic, royals, elites with superhuman powers, need I say more?

Wild - I definitely want to see this movie as well. The book outlines Cheryl's powerful journey 4 years after her mothers death. With no training she takes off on an amazing journey.

We were liars - The Sinclair family gathers on their private island every summer. This is the story of what happens during those summers, particularly one where the details are a little hazy.

Not that Kind of Girl - I love Lena Dunham and her voice so I can't wait to devour this whitty read.

At the Waters Edge - This is the newest novel by Sara Gruen who wrote one of my favorite books Water for Elephants. So I knew I had to read it. A high society couple is cut off by their family after an embarrassment at a New Year's Eve party. Set in the 40s the couple and their best friend set's off to redeem themselves by tracking down the Loch Ness monster. I love anything that involves the Scottish Highlands so I can't wait to read this.

What are you most looking forward to reading in the next couple months?

Thank you so much for reading!
