With Style and a Little Grace: My Current Skincare Routine

My Current Skincare Routine

Happy Friday Friends! I have recently been working on my skincare routine trying to get it down to the perfect combination of products. As I wind the road to thirty ( freaking out a little) I am realizing how important investing in your skin is and I have found myself spending the money on my skincare versus other items. Let's face it you only get one face - unless your a Beverly Hills Housewife -which would be fabulous.

We are all aware by now that I am a beauty addict. While I am still working on adding certain items (mainly a Clarisonic) good products are expensive -can I get an AMEN, I thought I would show you what I am using right now since the last time I talked about my skincare routine was two years ago. Check out the whole post here. Plus I have seen a few of my favorite bloggers post about their skincare and it always gets me excited to see what products everyone is loving.

Origins Checks and Balances - I am in love with this facewash y'all. You only need a tiny bit and it gets so frothy and leaves your face feeling so smooth and clean. It smells minty fresh and lasts for ages. I am almost out so I will be repurchasing, I believe I have found my Holy Grail facewash and I am thinking about trying out the Ginzeng scrub as well.

Garnier Refreshing Remover Cleansing Towelettes - I have been using these towelettes to wipe off excess makeup at night or in the morning. I like them so far but I am not fully convinced. They are a little drying. I have been through several different brands of cleansing cloths and I still haven't found that Holy Grail product for me. Any suggestions?

I cleanse my face morning and night then wipe away excess with my cleansing cloths.

AVEENO Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer - I switched back to this moisturizer recently and have been loving it. It's a great moisturizer and it has SPF 15. It evens out the tone of my skin and I feel like it helps with redness.

Origins Ginzeng Eye Cream - I started using this eye cream last week and I already feel like I am seeing results. My skin around my eyes is much less puffy and it really wakes my eyes up in the morning. I have been using it at night right now because I don't have a nighttime cream but it is supposed to be used in the AM.

Josie Maran Argan Oil Light - I bought the mini versions of the light and original to try out for night and day. So far they are fabulous for winter skin. I mix a few drops in with my moisturizer and my skin feels instantly hydrated. I am also noticing a difference in lines.

Coconut Oil - I have my coconut oil in this container in my bathroom. I use it for EVERYTHING. Taking off my make-up, moisturizer, etc. This stuff is a miracle worker.

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream - This cream is great for the winter months, especially mixed with a little argan oil. I know I will want to lighten it up in the summer but right now it is so nourishing on my skin.

Orlane Line Reducing Lip Care - I was given several of these Orlane products by my Dad's Fiance Suzanne and they are fabulous. Otherwise to be honest I would never have been able to afford to buy it. It really hydrates and plumps my lips at night, I love it. Definitely a little luxury.

I mix the argan oil with my Kiehls night cream and slather all over my face. I dab on my eye cream and then dab a little bit of the lip cream on my lips.

Philips Sonicare Electric Toothbrush - I obviously brush my teeth morning and night but I can't tell you what a difference this electric toothbrush has made. My teeth feel so amazing and so clean. I wish I hadn't waited to long to get one.

I am definitely going to do an updated version this summer since I am still trying to update and tweak my routine to find out what works the best for my skin. I am also going to do a post next week about all my favorite products I use on my Spa nights. I try to a do a mask  once or twice a week. I usually do my hair and skin at the same time.

What are your favorite products, I would love to know!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
