With Style and a Little Grace: What I got for my Birthday & festivities 2014

What I got for my Birthday & festivities 2014

Hi Friends, I hope y'all had the most amazing Labor Day weekend. We said goodbye to summer in the most relaxing of ways and I can't say I am sad to see her go. As much as I have loved summer, we had so many amazing trips this year, if you have been around here awhile you know that Fall is my favorite season and I am welcoming her with open arms.

As you know my Birthday was last week and I thought it would be fun to show you what gifts I got. I will disclaim this post by saying that I am not doing this to brag or anything like that. I really enjoy when people do posts like this ( i.e. I am nosy) so I thought it would be fun.

I started my Bday off with gorgeous flowers, my favorite Starbucks from my sweet boss, balloons from a patient, and a gift card to Starbucks. I can't wait to use it for my favorite pumpkin spice lattes!

My mother in law made me this terrarium which I should not be able to kill since it is self sustaining. I love it. Have to find it the perfect home!

I was in desperate need for new tennis shoes so these were a gift from my sweet husband. I picked them out for him ;) Loving the grey and purple.

With some of my birthday money I decided to purchase the Anastasia brow wiz in the shade dark brown. This has been on my beauty list forever and I have heard it is amazing from all my favorite you-tubers, so I will do a review and let you know. I have very thin, fickle brows so I have been looking for the perfect brow pencil.  I also got a little birthday gift set from Makeup Forever. It is a trial size lipstick and mascara.

My mom sent me these adorable leggings that I think will be really cute to work-out in. They are pretty thick material so they should work.

My dad and his girlfriend sent me this gorgeous necklace. You can take the clasp off and wear it as just a gold chain as well. Love it.

My big gift from Henry was my Ray-Ban aviators polar special series in blue. I have love love loved my original ray-ban aviators and have worn them for two years non-stop. I knew I wanted to add a color version into my arsenal and he knew how much I liked them, so he picked them out all on his own! He did such a good job and I just love them so much. I am seriously a major Ray-Ban fan. The quality is so great!

B-Day dinner at our favorite sushi/hibachi place Shogun. Such a wonderful night with my love! Great way to kick off the big 2-9!

I ate way way too much!

I also have a little announcement about my giveaway I did with Shop the Mint. I am sorry to say that the giveaway only extends within the United States which, disqualified our first winner. I am so so sorry that I did not specify this on the giveaway instructions. I am so sorry y'all! I will try not to make a mistake like that again. I have re-run my rafflecopter to pick a new winner. Congratulations Lara!! Shop The Mint will contact you via e-mail!
