Happy Thanksgiving Eve,

Gift Guide { For Him }

My Husband is a very outdoorsy guy so I will definitely preface this post by saying most of these items are geared towards him. That being said there are some great clothing items included that I think any guy would like and any wife/gf would love to see them in.

A great wallet by Cole Haan which is now 30% off

Another great Cole Haan item this brown belt also on sale.

A classic pair of pajamas to wear on Christmas morning!

My husband is not a big cologne guy but I love the idea of this Givenchy on his bathroom counter.

The art of shaving kit - This is another great gift if you just aren't sure what to get. Even for brother or Dad.

Russell boots - These are a big gift my Husband has wanted for a long time. They will custom make your boots for your exact foot.

The Whiskey Companion  from Orvis for the whiskey lover!

Orvis mens signature twill shirt - I always include these because I think they are such great quality and so good looking!

Stag Decanter - We received this decanter as a wedding gift and it looks great at the bar especially around the Holiday season!

A great looking weekend bag to replace their old beaten up one they have probably had since college :)

Hope this is helpful! Please let me know what you think!
Happy Tuesday!

Weekend Update + It's Turkey Week!

Hi FRANDS! It's Turkey week y'all! I hope you are excited as I am about this short week and the beginning of the Holiday season. I am working on my overusage of the exclamation point!!!!!! Anyways we spent the weekend doing a little Christmas shopping, Thanksgiving shopping, cleaning, and getting ready for our big duck hunting trip to Arkansas that we leave for after Thanksgiving. My husband has been like a kid on Christmas and it is so cute to watch him pull out all his gear to get ready for our big trip. So excited!

My new favorite purchases:

Cute santa clause matches from my recent trip up north!

 Aveeno positively radiant, Maybelline Clean Express and the new Revlon Colorburst - I haven't tried my new face lotion yet but the maybelline make-up remover is great and the new revlon colorburst looks so great on! The purple color is FAB!

 My new Alabama candle by the southern firefly candle co. I haven't heard of them before but found them in a boutique in Huntsville. They smell amazing. The Alabama one smells like red velvet cake.... DELICIOUS!

\\

Happy Monday! It's a short week y'all!

Happy Friday!

Hope y'all are off to enjoy the weekend and get ready for the short week next week! So looking forward to some time off! Getting in a little Holiday shopping and hubby time this weekend! Enjoy

Gift Guide { For Her }

Now that I have talked about my love for all things November and Thanksgiving ( for about 5 minutes) I think it is only appropriate that I move on to my gift guide of the season....        (said with only the tiniest hint of sarcasm). But lets get serious y'all if we don't stock up on the good stuff now it is going to get snatched! And ain't nobody got time for that!

Gift Guide: For Her { your wife, girlfriend, mom, sister, best friend }

Marc Jacobs style eye-con No. 7 in Lolita - This eye palette is all over the place right now and I have heard so many fab reviews about it. This is the perfect lux gift that you might not buy for yourself. The colors are gorgeous for every single day and the packaging is gorgeous!

Domino: The book of decorating - Such a fabulous coffee table book.

Lauren Conrad STYLE  -  Another gorgeous book and what girl doesn't love LC!

Josie Maran Escape to Morocco Holiday pack - I love these gift packs they do during the Holidays because they offer you so many more options to try products that you might not have tried before!

Kate Spade new york drop earrings - Perfect to ring in the new year with your party dress!

The Fireside Long Jane PJS - Victoria Secret - What better Christmas day PJs?

J-Crew Nightshirt - Or maybe this lovely one from JCrew that you can monogram and it is 25% off right now!

Nest Holiday candle - For the candle lover!

November - Turkey and Tablescapes

I went to Target tonight after work and was overrun by the Holiday shoppers. Suddenly I got this pit in my stomach... how many days do I have until Christmas? So much to be done and so little time!! I wanted to step back for just a minute and enjoy the here and now. I feel like so often Thanksgiving can get bypassed for Christmas and I really love both so I want to try and savor it all. It is such a joyful time of the season and there are so many things crammed into such a short time it is easy to get caught up in it all.

Let's take a minute to enjoy the best things about November:

Thanksgiving... the endless food, the harvest decor

Tablescapes

Pie.. all pies, all shapes and sizes

Turkey... the magnificent creature that puts you into an afternoon nap comatose!

A drop in temperature finally!

Weekend Update

Hi everyone! I have been gone a little longer than usual because honestly this 28 year old can't hang anymore and it took me two whole days to catch up from my weekend..... I know getting older sucks! I went to my hometown to do our wedding exchange, see my family and friends, and go to a great friends wedding. I basically ran around like a chicken with my head cut off! It was such a fun weekend but don't you feel like you always pay for those?

Anyways hope your having a great week! Here is what's been happening around here!

Lunch at Panera with my sweet husband and tasty treats!

 Getting in the Christmas spirit with the Junior League

Getting my favorite barbeque while in my hometown for the weekend! So delicious!! I also had a great manicure and got to spend some QT with my cousin Jenny! She was patient enough to sit through my entire 4 hour gift exchange!

Seeing one of my Besties fabulous items out in the cutest boutique in Huntsville while shopping! So proud of her! For more of her fabulousness click here. Her stuff is gorgeous!

Seriously regretting not buying this dress because it was the perfect gameday ensemble! I did get the one behind it though!

Getting to see these two always makes for an amazing trip!

Since the Husbands/boyfriends couldn't come we went with our moms and had an amazing time at the sweetest and most gorgeous wedding!

Got to see my dad and his girlfriend Suzanne and loved spending time with them too! It was old home week for me!

All in all it was such a wonderful weekend! Can't believe Thanksgiving is next week!!! AHH! So much to do y'all!
