It's All Hallows Eve y'all! Hope your day is filled with tricks, treats, ghouls, and goblins. Let the spooking begin. I absolutely love Halloween and in preparation for such a fun day I have recently watched

this classic .. which scared me as usual

then I followed with my absolute favorite Halloween movie of all time and lets be honest the best one there is

So many gems

Tonight I plan on watching Scream/ The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown and indulging in lots of Halloween candy while passing it out to adorable trick or treaters dressed as witches, cats, ghouls, and zombies galore.

If you want to check out my fun little check-list for Halloween from last year and the Charlie monsters cute costume you can see that here. He didn't dress up this year because his mommy was bad and didn't have time to get him a new costume and he HATES his other one. If she was a good mommy he would be going as a lion see here. Might have to do that next year!

Jewelry Organization

I think I told y'all recently that I am a list making fool. I make lists for everything - grocery lists, wish lists, home d├ęcor wish lists, jewelry lists. A good friend and I were laughing over the weekend about how we OCDly keep them all on our phones. I am constantly adding and changing but I love to have them with me when I am shopping so that I can always look for those things that have been on my list for a while. Do you do this?

I recently added a jewelry list. I know that I would love to start adding some nicer pieces to my jewelry collection and wanted a good place to start.  I also realized that I needed to find a way to organize the jewelry I do have. I don't have a jewelry box or a drawer so right now my jewelry is wrangled all together in a huge crate and it is just not working. I have currently been researching jewelry storage.

I am in love with this gorgeous option. I think it is so practical because it is also a girly piece of furniture that can hold all of my beautiful baubles and a candle :) ! This might be on my Christmas List. It is also big enough that you have extra room to grow your collection.

Some other great options include:

This piece from the container store that I also think would be great for make-up on the counter.

Pretty jewelry box from Pottery Barn has caught my eye for a while.

Gorgeous way to organize in drawers.

How do you organize your jewelry? I definitely think the armoire is the winner.

Weekend Update

It's Monday friends and it's Halloween week! That means we will be watching lots of fun Halloween movies at our house this week. We had a jam packed weekend. Friday we headed to the river to dog sit for the weekend, went to a football watching party on saturday, ate delicious ribs and I managed to make an appearance at a jewelry party too, and Sunday we took Charlie to Woofstock downtown Mobile at Bienville Square. There were so many dogs and he had so much fun! There was even a dog Halloween costume contest. Too adorable.

Weekend in pictures:
I am sure you have seen this via pinterest but I thought it was so cute. Did these for our Halloween party at my office on Friday

Thought these were so cute and easy too. Just cream cheese and black olives.

Saturday morning I made my pimento cheese for all my different parties and it turned out so delicious. I absolutely love pimento cheese. My recipe will be up this Wednesday on the blog.

Finally got to break out my scarves this weekend because it was so gorgeous and chilly !

Charlie's new lady friend at woof stock

Family shot! It really was a fun little sunday outing! Do you enjoy how it looks like  I am showing everyone my beer.... I clearly don't know how to pose for pics!

We hit up Old Dutch afterwards and went all out with a classic sunday and a banana split. It was delicious! Old Dutch is a classic staple in Mobile and if your ever in town you should definitely go and get some phenomenal ice cream. It has lots of Southern charm!

5 things I can't live without this week

It's Friday and it has finally gotten chilly around here! Where has October gone y'all? We only have one week left and it will be November and then the holidays will be here before we know it! Already making my Christmas lists.... I have a bit of a list making issue.
Currently loving my new Essie wicked nail polish! It is the perfect dark shade for fall. Please excuse my somewhat sloppy manicure.

Halloween hair accessories.... haha just for a fun Halloween day at work! Love my kitty hair clip. These are super cute too!

Loving this Yankee Candle in spiced pumpkin. It is just the right mix of cinnamon, spice, and pumpkin.  Yankee candle never disappoints. I burned it all the way down this week. I am on the hunt for a few new fall candles. Any great scent suggestions?

I know ya'll might be tired of my pumpkin obsession but I picked up this soap for my bathrooms this week and I am loving the smell. It's got that great cinnamon scent but isn't too overpowered by the pumpkin. I also picked up this one and this one for the holiday season. Staking out their candles too.

Last but not least my adorable new Target hand towels . Halloween shopping is a disease. The other cute one is in my kitchen and I kind of think I need the bird towels too.... or not

Thoughts for Thursday

Sometimes life gets a little crazy and oftentimes I  look to great quotes for a little inspiration. Might seem a little cheesy but it works for me. Especially when you are feeling a little lost or wondering where to go next. There is always great inspiration in powerful words and prayer! You just have to look!

I may have featured some of these before but they are some of my favorites for inspiration and motivation

New TV Show Obsessions

Well my friends I think I have finally weeded out the heard of new talent from the fall TV lineup and decided what to pick up and what to permanently delete from my DVR. I only really found a few great gems from the new shows this year and I actually have a few I used to watch that might be teetering on delete town!

New talent on my DVR :

Reign The CW 8 PM

I love it! There is just enough soapy girl drama, great costumes, and love triangles. It has officially taken the place of Gossip Girl for me! It's one of my guilty pleasures! It also has a bit of a spooky undertone and it is a period piece.... what's not to love!
Betrayal ABC Sundays 9 pm

Drama Drama Drama! Lots of it! Secrets, Lies, Betrayal you will love it! Another great soapy drama.
Witches of East End Lifetime Sundays 9

There are witches, Aunts that come back as cats, demons, all sorts of unnatural spirits, and a love triangle... if you are not sold already then we clearly don't have the same taste in television. Watch it! So So Good!

The Goldbergs ABC

Just hilarious! If you were born or raised in the 80s this is just so spot on! My husband and I watch it together and we love it! Also not to be super corny but it always has a great moral story.  It is a really great family show!

On the chopping block

Once upon a time ABC Sunday 7

Who am I kidding I am so over this show. The plot is totally all over the place and they have really lost my interest. I deleted the last two episodes before I made it the entire way through

The Tomorrow People The CW

The jury is still out. I don't know if I can stay interested with this plot we will see.

The Crazy Ones CBS Thursday 8

Apparently everyone loves this show and I really want to but I just don't know if I am into it. Anyone else feeling this way? I can't decide! I love all the people on it! We will see.

Any shows out of the new Fall hits that I should be watching that I'm not? I still have some other ones to get caught up on but that is what I got so far. Happy hump day!

Currently Craving { Black legging style pants }

I realized this weekend that I have been wearing my J Crew pixie pants on heavy rotation and I was wearing them non-stop last Fall/Winter as well. They are the perfect pant to pair with a slouchy sweater and riding boots and dressed up with a leather jacket and ankle boots for date night! I absolutely love them and decided I needed a few more pairs to add to my wardrobe. I put together some of my favorites at several great price points.

These Zara ones are coming home to me soon. I think they will be perfect to wear with a cozy sweater and I love the pockets. You can't beat the price at $36 dollars!

Loving these too also from Zara ( I love Zara recently ) They have that great leather look and you could really dress these up!

The JCrew pixie pant is still one of my favorites and they are 25% off right now with code SHOPNOW. I would love to have them in charcoal.

Loving this style so much I might need them too!

I heart these too!! I love them all!
Last pair here

They are all so cute and I just love this look with booties, a slouchy tee and a scarf! Very fall to me!

Weekend Update { A DIY Project and more Halloween decor}

Happy Monday All! We spent the weekend doing odds and ends around the house and finally tackling some organizational projects. I finally got around to painting a piece of furniture, cleaning out my closet, and cleaning our house. It was a very productive weekend! Hope ya'll had a great one!
Here is the piece before I started painting it... def needed a little TLC.

I am pretty happy with the end result. I went with white because we are hoping to move soon so I wanted to keep it a neutral color. I am also going to get different pulls and a new lamp to go on top.

OOTD: I wore to dinner with Henry on Sunday night!
Sweater - unknown, Leather Skirt - F21 love this one here, shoes BCBG OLD
I got my adorable Boo pillow from Pottery barn and some new pillows from Dillards to cozy up my couch. I am still working on the arrangement.

Several weeks ago I ordered these cute magnets from sticky gram and they finally came in. I think they turned out so great and now I have some of my favorite instagrams on my refrigerator.

Last but not least my husband found this little gem that my mom gave us last year in storage on Sunday. I got him out, dusted him off, and put him right in our entry. He is actually an outdoor pumpkin and I will put him on our porch Halloween night with a candle but for now this is where he will reside. It officially looks like Halloween threw up at our house and I love it!
